I am a Reiki Practitioner of Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki, for over 20 years. I am an energy worker and hold many other modality certifications; an Advanced Clearing Energetics level, Emotional Freedom Technique certification, NESTA Sports performance certification, mi-Health Bioenergetics.and IAC Life Skills Coaching. I have worked with essential oils and crystals and offer years of clinical experience as an Advanced level Hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner, certified by the National Guild of Hypnotist since 1997.
It was my own health issues with Fibromyalgia and CFS that lead me to seek alternative modalities’ for relief as contemporary medicine could only offer me lifetime pharmaceuticals. I was drawn to Reiki to heal myself, I obtained my degrees in 1997, and I have been practicing ever since.
- Reiki has helped me tremendously and my goal has been to inspire and help others. Over the years, I have seen many miracles happen with my clients as well as my animal clients.
I am very familiar with Fibromyalgia, CFS, Lichen Sclerosis, and Hypothyroidism. I have worked with clients diagnosed with AIDS/HIV, MS, PTSD, ADD, various types of Cancer, Alzheimer’s, Brain Injury and I have been called on to comfort palliative persons in their last stage of life. Reiki is an amazing tool to bring peace to love ones crossing over. Reiki helps with many physical injuries and just about any conceivable illness including sensitive social and psychological issues like abuse and divorce. Reiki is the best source of relaxation and stress relief.
I love animals and have worked with pets of all sizes, especially love to work with cats, dogs, and horses. They love and gravitate to Reiki. mi-Health Bioenergetics calms rescued and traumatized horses within minutes.
I have met and worked with the most wonderful people and healers over the years and do Reiki Share, learn and present workshops and special events together with healers at New Leaf Metaphysical in Peterborough and Mystical Wellness in Calgary so our clients can experience the best healing practices and newest therapies available. Reiki is an ancient method of hands on healing originating in Japan, discovered by Mr. Mikao Usui at the turn of the 20th Century. It is a healing art form for the reduction of stress & relaxation which then promotes healing; transforming the body and mind. A natural, non-invasive treatment carried out fully clothed, helping relaxation, balance of emotions and stress. It can also help pain relief, anxiety, depression and many other ailments. I have been doing Reiki for over 20 years and use Reiki daily. It is still the one main modality I use to this day combined with many other modalities like crystals, aromatherapy and biofeedback equipment to help get the best results possible for my clients.
